Nourish International opportunity
From Nourish International
Nourish International is a student movement to eradicate global poverty. During the school year, Nourish Chapters run small businesses called “Ventures.” Using the money they earn, Chapters plan and invest in sustainable community development projects. Students then travel abroad to partner with local communities in implementing those solutions.
To expand our impact, we’re looking for students on your campus who want to be a part of the solution to global poverty and challenge themselves in the process. These students will receive professional training and support as they start a Nourish Chapter at their school – building membership, running ventures and implementing sustainable development projects overseas.
There are several ways to get involved:
Apply to be a Chapter Founder – Between now and February 19th Nourish is accepting applications for its Chapter Founders Program. This spring, we’ll be selecting student leaders from campuses across the country to receive professional training, support and $500 start-up capital.
Tell a friend – If Nourish isn’t the right opportunity for you, you can still help accomplish our mission of eradicating global poverty. Spreading the word to just three people drastically raises our chances of finding the right student on your campus. Nominate a friend now by clicking here.
Sincerely,
The Nourish Team

Thank you, Robert Egger!
The Forum would like to give a big thank you to Robert Egger for last night’s inspiring discussion on social enterprise in America. For those who were unable to attend, we hope to have an audio of the event up shortly. In the meantime, click here if you’re interested in volunteering with D.C. Central Kitchen, or here to check out the V3 campaign to unite America’s social enterprises.
“I want to demonstrate that you can employ people that society views as unemployable, on the fringe, or dangerous. And I aim to give people the best show they’ve ever seen… Doing a good deed is too often perceived as the ashes and sackcloth stuff. I want to break free of that. I want it to be something that’s joyful and purposeful and profitable — all at the same time.” – Robert Egger, “15 Minutes with Robert Egger,” Stanford Social Innovation Review
